Brian from Hereford

First my profound apologies to Brian from Hereford who sent me a letter, a real letter, painfully a long time ago and it demonstrates how much I rely on electronic storage. Email I act upon as quick as I can, but I'm forever losing letters.

How can I set up a video link with PC users abroad (wifes sister uses MSN Microsoft Messenger) that would be great.

Software tip from Jo relating to TV card
Just remembered another brilliant (and free!) app - Brightness Control by Splasm Software (http://www.splasm.com/products/productbrightness.html). It does what it says on the tin - lets you turn your brightness down to practically nothing - but its just so SIMPLE!

British Icon & Invention
British Invention: The Morris Minor

The revolutionary Morris Minor (originally called Mosquito) was launched at the Earls Court Motor Show on 20 September, 1948. Named for an earlier Morris Minor car , it was the work of a team led by Alec Issigonis, who later designed the Mini. Sir Alec became famous for his creation of the Mini but he was really proudest of his participation in designing the Morris Minor. He considered it as being a vehicle which managed to combine many of the luxuries and conveniences of a good motor car with a price suitable for the working classes, while the Mini was a spartan mode of conveyance with everything cut to the bone.
