I'm a freelance public relations consultant and journalist and, of course, I love Macs.

I work exclusively within non-profit and creative organisations. My client list includes The Open University and First Light, the UK Film Council's young people's filmmaking arm.

Basically, my job is to make sure my clients get coverage across radio, television, press and internet. I'm a former journalist so I tend to know what gets a busy news desk or reporter interested in a story.

Recently I've helped to achieved coverage for clients on everything from Channel Four's Richard & Judy to Radio Four's Front Row.

I work freelance from my base in North East England and I'm not afraid to travel!

I also run a media relations workshops service where I advise organisations on how to improve and retarget their media relations activity. I do these sessions with a working journalist.

I classify myself as not-quite-unemployed, because around 4 days a month, I work in technical support or as a trainer. I have been in technical support of pre-press networks, database development and training since '92; graphic design since '73 (yes, I'm almost ancient!).

I'm a non-smoker, lucky to be in good health and I have a full driving licence. I'm reliable, honest and self-motivated. Current commitments leave me, say, 30 hours a week to fill and I am looking for contract, temporary or permanent roles within 30 miles radius of Redditch (or via online delivery).

I have four strings to my bow: (i) OS X technical support (ii) artworker - using Adobe CS2 (but I could return to XPress) (iii) database developer, using Filemaker Pro (iv) trainer - OS X, it's in-built applications and OS X Server Could you take advantage of this skillset?

I'm a 22 year old student of Computer and Networking Technology about to go into the last year of my degree. This year will only be part time, so I'm looking for something else to occupy my time. I'm based in Manchester, but I am willing to travel around the North West. I'm mainly looking to get a foot into the technology / creative industries so pay isn't that important (as long as it pays the bills!).

SAM MANGAN
Off-line Editor

Sam has worked in the film / TV post production industry for 7 years and is an off-line editor using Avid and Final Cut Pro Studio He has worked on both short form and long form work for clients such as the BBC and Channel 4 . Recently he has been the assistant editor on BBC2's 'The Restaurant'. Previous programmes worked on include 'Wild West', 'David Walliams Big Swim' and 'Jamie's Chef'.

He is available for all kinds of video and audio editing and also is a musician who composes music for short films and showreels.
